Cut from 100% cotton, this updated essential is as uncomplicated and casual as it is professional and polished. Cut with a low, yet cleavage-covering neckline, The Crop Tank closes up the back with hand-pressed, fabric-covered buttons.
In Dalmatian Ikat cotton, it's that classic top that'll have you reaching for it year after year.
Why we make it:
Our closets needed a top that was unpretentious yet elevated, fit seamlessly into our existing wardrobe, and could just as easily be worn to a picnic or a pitch meeting.
Most of all, it had to look damn good.
This summer's color palette merges Brooklyn's landscape and the textural strokes of Edward Hopper's paintings of coastal Maine.
Picture an ever-changing wash of blues, surrounded by crisp architectural silhouettes.
All woven in luxe, textured materials for the perfect piece-dyed summer linens.
Throw it in the wash, hang it up to dry, toss it on the ground. It'll love you back no matter what.
Meet our Dalmatian Ikat
Introducing NAOMI NOMI’s first print: the Dalmatian Ikat. What makes Ikat fabric so uniquely beautiful? It's the yarn – the weavers start by tightly tying bundles of yarn before resist dyeing them. And only when they've finished the dyeing do they then thread their looms. This traditional Indonesian dyeing technique – Ikat -- produces patterns that have a characteristic blurriness – because lining up the patterns on the dyed fibers along the warp and weft is really, really hard. But that blurriness is what makes Ikat fabric so beautiful. And so beloved. By traditional weavers everywhere. And especially by the people who wear it.
Our Ikat – made from white threads resist dyed black -- is dyed and woven in India from 100% cotton. It is ultra-breathable and soft to the touch.
The perfect summer material.
